Setelah lari pagi yang amat melelahkan di Sabuga… cuma sempet mandi 15 menit dan berpakaian dengan terburu2… gw langsung cabut lagi ke BIP… What the hell am i doing in BIP at 9 am in the morning??

well..Minggu itu tgl 24 Juli 2005 ada premiere Cinta Silver di BIP. walau teater 6 gak penuh..tapi 3/4nya terisi oleh orang-orang yang kebanyakan dapet tiket nonton premiere gratis ini dari quiz di Hardrock FM Bandung? Klo gw dapet drmn?? hehehe….. i love my job!

gw masuk agak telat 15 menit… tp dasar film indonesia… telat setengah jam aja kayaknya kita gak ketinggalan banyak. Soalnya kelemahan utama Cinta Silver (yg jelek2nya dulu yah?)… plotnya amat simple…malah terlalu simple.. jadi sekitar 3/4 bagian awal film isinya berulang-ulang tentang si ibu yang mencoba ngejodohin Levi (Restu Sinaga) dengan Sisil (Luna Maya)… over and over. Padahal udah jelas si Levi dah ada plan sendiri dan Sisil dah mencoba get over it. But still.. dengan segala cara si Bunda (Rima Melati) mencoba membuat si anak merasa bersalah dan menuruti keinginannya.. so typical Indonesian mother. My mom did the same thing to my sister.. LOL

Back to the movie… well guys… almost all the women appear on this movie are gorgeous..just too good to be true.. whats with indonesian movie maker? get real..look around u!!

Yang gw suka dari film ini… gambarnya bagus2… khas Rexinema yg rada2 video klip…baik dari colour tone, lokasi sampai angle2nya… keren deh. eye candy banget. and oh… the soundtracks..all by Glenn are..awesome!! Glenn gitu loh..
In general… lumayan menghibur…masalah ‘berat’ tapi dikemas ringan…ada lucu-nya juga… and remind us a lot bout our mum..
tapi yang paling keren dan THE BEST A MAN CAN GET!! adalah…
i actually had lunch and talked a lot at the same table with Catherine Wilson and Luna Maya after the premiere… wow.. they’re fun.. and bella! whatta nice (exhausting) sunday …

For me, twenty five is just a meaningless number… twenty five years old is just another year that’ll end eventually. So.. there’s nothing special bout it.. chill..
But, thank God i still can breath to this very 25..

Yesterday… i attend the screening for Miles Production latest movie, GIE at the PH Jakarta. Being the first one to watch the movie with other journalist+movie cast+crew was so great!

Anyway… what can i say bout this movie? For most people, 2,5 hours indonesian serious drama film is sooooo… u knowlah. But for me? i love it (with few notes). What i like the most is the art directing n cinematography and of course…the story itself.

I kinda like movies that can give ’something’ to me. And GIE gave me those. It made me think about life and goal.

I remember one quote from GIE that really2 stuck in my head. At the last scene Soe Hok Gie said (more less sounds like this):

Thank God It’s Friday!
that’s what people always said bout Friday… i dunno what to thanx about on Friday…
It’s not my last working day for sure, i still got tomorrow…
There’s not even a special day for me occured on this day? So..why should i thank God for this day?

Hmm..wait! I think i know why..
It’s not just Friday.. i should thank God for everyday i breath the fresh air and feel the sun touches my face.. thank God for the beautiful musics i hear and the great movies i see.. thank God for nasi kuning i ate this morning.. thank God for friends that cares about me.. etc.
Above all.. I thank God for allowing me woke up this Friday!!

PS: Somehow i think… something great will happen to me today..this Friday. What could it be?

Siapa disini yang belom pernah denger nama PSM Universitas Katholik Parahyangan? Kamana wae atuh gaya?!?!?! (terjemahan: kemana aja, man!?). Orang udah manggung ke seluruh dunia and juara dimana2… masa masih ga pernah denger?

Well…Juli ini mereka mo ngadain Tur Asia gitu deh..ke Singapore, Taipei dan Kyoto dalam kapasitas sebagai bintang tamu…. Membanggakan yahh? Nah…td malem di GSG Unpar, choir ini uji tampil sekalian menggalang dana ….

Acaranya dimulai jam 19.45-an…guess what? all seats were full! PSM tampil 2 sesi. Sesi pertama bawain 5 lagu2 yang serius…trus sesi 2 lagu daerah. Mereka nyanyi pake baju daerah…kocak banget, ada yang pake kostum Gatotkaca…tapi jadi unique.
Gw ga melebih2kan tapi penampilan semalem dahsyat banget (walau gw yakin mereka belom ngeluarin 100%)…ampe merinding dengernya..
Apalagi di sesi ke-2 mereka nyanyi sambil nari2 daerah … (yg nari bali pas lagu Janger cute banget :P)

Tapi gw paling impress ama lagu Five Flower Song (yang kata Daniel serasa soundtrack The Omen), Tetabeuhan Sungut (mereka sama sekali ga berkata2, cuma ngeluarin suara2 aneh tapi harmonis), and lagu dr banyuwangi: Luk-luk Lumbu (yang koreografinya keren n kenes abis)… Lagu laen yang ga kalah bagus: Toki Gong, Haleluyah! Puji Tuhan, Siksik Si Batu Manikam, Hosanna in Excelsis, Rampai Aceh, Cing Cangkeling, Kerraban Sape and many others

Secara keseluruhan last nite show was a world class show (walau dekorasinya agak…yaaa gitu deh!).. i felt goosebumps several times coz of their angelic voices….. (but kenapa yah pas balik agak2 sedih hehehe…. aaada deh!)

GOOD LUCK deh buat Tur Asia-nya….!

Catch flu? hmm.. what an awkward term.. coz i never really looking some flu virus to catch. Even if i really really take my butt off to catch those flu virus.. geez.. get a real job!
